 What i am going tot make is one of the easiest Ethiopian dishes you could possibly imagine. Its basically saute meat.To make this dish first prepare the ingredients;
  •  Onions
  •  White meat/fat
  •  Butter( preferred to be habesha butter)
  •  Diced meat
  •  Salt
  •  Black pepper
  •  Green pepper
Recipe

  1. Heat your pan.
  2. Chop your onions in half rings
  3. then put the white meat/ fat in the heated pan.
  4. wait till there is enough oil on the surface of the pan.
  5. Then put in your diced meat and let it cook until the juice in the meat comes up.
  6. Then put the half ringed onions and wait for them to be cooked as well not burned but cooked!!
  7. finally you can put the butter in for taste and smell.
And you're done. The  to eat you can either eat it with "injera" or bread. I hope you try it!!
Also the amount of ingredients depends on the amount of people you are going to serve.
P.S i will post the video soon enough so that you could see it being made

Getting to know Maraki

Heyy I'm Maraki , I am a junior at International Leadership Academy of Ethiopia. I am not the greatest cook of all times but I can manage to not put the kitchen in flames. My favorite Ethiopian dish is "Kitfo"; its made of minced meat, butter and Ethiopian spices. It's really good. It  hope I will learn a lot and have a lot of fun with you guys. I have been to thirteen east coast states and my favorite western dish is steak with mushroom sauce and baked potatoes for the side. For dessert my all time favorite is....LAVA CAKE!!!!!
