My name is Chenqi, and I am a senior in the Northwest School. I come from Shanxi, China, and my native language is Chinese. I came to Northwest School since 2013.

            I like music and I have played cello for over 9 years. I am in school orchestra as well. My favorite musician are Bach and Yo-yo Ma, a great composer and a great cellist. In orchestra, we have played Bach's piece several times. I really enjoyed that. I like all kinds of music. I like to listen to music so much. I hope that I can listen to music all the time.

            I also like to play some video game when I have leisure time, such as League of Legend. I enjoy to play with my friends together doing teamwork and having fun. My favorite team is Team WE. I really like to watch games too.

Hi! My name is Natsuki, I'm from Japan. My hometown is near Tokyo. I was born in 1999 and I'm a senior at the Northwest School. I have three older brothers and a dog. I came to Seattle three years ago. I have been playing the piano for almost 13 years. I love musicals and watching TV shows. My favorite musicals are the Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, and Wicked. I have been to Paris and I love European history. I have read the book about Marie Antoinette and famous classic European composers so many times. I have never been to Taiwan and Ethiopia, and I really want to go! Also, I love to talk with people and to hang out with friends. I think this is a great opportunity to have international relationship with three countries. Now, i have been studying in the NWS for three years. It is my last year in the NWS, i will go to college next year. Usually, i like to play basketball and video games. Hi, my name is Tyson!

Coming from a country of over 6000 miles away, I am currently a Vietnamese boarding student, studying in the Northwest School in Seattle, Washington. I am already a senior at the Northwest School, and I can’t wait to continue my education journey in one of those universities, which it consists of an environment of different culture and diversity. I have friends coming from as many places in the world that I could remember, and I am extremely thrilled to become friends with all of you! Getting to know more about miscellaneous culture, knowledges and stories from different regions of the world and from you guys, are the things that I hope to find out! In regards of my personal interests, I have been passionate about playing piano since I was 6; I have been practicing dancing since secondary school; I am fascinated to explore different regions of the world; and I love to create spectacular photographs to post on my social-media :)
